You will be guided by an expert cheesemaker, in a unique experience to discover the secrets and techniques of artisanal production of this delicious cheese. You will also have the opportunity to taste the Parmesan cheese directly from the mould.
Parmigiano Reggiano DOP is a unique cheese with a history stretching back thousands of years. Already produced in the Middle Ages on monastery farms, thanks to its long shelf life, it was marketed throughout the Mediterranean as early as the 13th century. Even today, as in ancient times, it is produced without additives, in a completely natural way. This process will be illustrated during your guided tour of the Borgotaro social dairy.
